ADETONA OMOKANYE: STREET HAWKER
In West Africa, street hawkers epitomize resilience and creativity amidst widespread unemployment. This work is part of a series inspired by the hawkers’ energy and the aesthetic appeal of their product displays. 

AHLENA SULTANA-MCGARRY: FRAGMENTS 
Ahlena Sultana-McGarry works digitally to create fragmented and organically abstract collages using family archival photographs of her homeland, fabrics, colours, and images of her mother. 

JAMES FOWLER
In creating these map paintings, James Fowler hopes to evoke the same lively feelings one gets when flying into a new big city for the first time, when we try to take everything in, or the lasting impressions stored in our memories of travelling anywhere far from home.  

ALLISON MORRIS AND ALISON POSTMA: BLURRING THE LINES
Allison Morris and Alison Postma blur the lines between photography and sculpture by constructing scenes and then photographing them. Both explore ideas around the body.

LEIGH NELSON: ILLUSION IMAGES
The sense of design and colour in Leigh Nelson’s digitally-created abstractions reflect her training in both painting and graphics, and invite multiple interpretations She says, “I love designing illusion images and letting people decide on what the actual outcome is in each piece.”
