Atlin & Descoteaux In Person: Sept. 20th!

Trees, Water, Sun, Dwellings | Karen Klee-Atlin

My work centers on the natural world particularly where it meets with human disruption. To that end, I’m very interested in documenting the points where there may be a clash between conservation and commerce. This tension can be felt through the colours I use and through my choice of imagery. Karen Klee-Atlin

Just Another Thought | Chaloupka, Descoteaux, Hefland

This exhibition was originally meant to be Jacques Descoteaux’s solo exhibition.  While the work of the three artists is significantly different, it seems to fit nicely on a continuum—from realism in Carole Chaloupka’s sculptures, to Jacques Descoteaux’s semi-abstract work, to Victor Hefland’s abstract sculptures.

What seemed at first to be just another thought, eventually became reality – Just Another Thought.
